Frequently Asked Questions

Q) Does Vantage offer sponsorship?
A) At this time, Vantage are not offering sponsorships. However please do contact us as we are willing to offer a discount on bat orders to promising players.

Q) Can I visit the Vantage Factory?
A) Unfortunately for insurance reasons we can't allow anyone to visit our workshop.

Q) What does the Grade A label on the bat mean?
A) Grade A does not relate to the grade of willow, but to the construction of the bat. All our bats are Grade A which means that the blade is entirely one piece of willow and the handle is 90% cane, wood and twine.

Q) Do you service older or non Vantage bats?
A) Yes we do. Please send your bat in to us for assessment prior to repair.

Q) How long do I have to wait for my bat to arrive?
A) At Vantage Cricket we aim to despatch all custom bat orders within 14 days and any other orders within a week when stocks allow internationally and 2 working days in the UK. We pride ourselves on the quality of our equipment if you are not entirely satisfied with what you receive, you can return for a refund or replacement.

Q) Are the bats knocked in?
A) The bats are knocked in as much as possible at our workshop, this is done by machine and means the customer only has to finish off the knocking in stage by knocking in the bat with a mallet focusing mainly down the edge and toe areas of the blade. This process should be done for around an hour!

Q) What if my bat breaks?
A) At Vantage we pride ourselves on the quality of our bats, if for some reason the bat breaks within it's first 6 months and we are satisfied that no foreign objects or in-proper use has caused the damage, we will where possible carry out a free repair or if necessary full free of charge replacement.
